Formed in 1994, Hanford Communities is an intergovernmental organization representing Benton County, Franklin County, and the cities of Richland, Kennewick, Pasco, and West Richland. We work in partnership with federal and state agencies to advocate for safe and effective cleanup of the Hanford Nuclear Reservation.

Our role is to:

  • Represent local voices in decision-making
  • Monitor and evaluate cleanup efforts
  • Educate the public with accurate, accessible information
  • Collaborate with partners to protect public health and economic stability
